Professional practice and rates

Every new mandate begins with an appointment that is participatory between the client and the lawyer: an exchange focused on the client’s expectations in order to set the objectives to be attained by the lawyer.

Most of time, a client has the will to transmit his / her / its problem – often sensitive – in the hands of the lawyer, in charge of the lawyer to take charge of it as a competent professional who will put in force to treat it.

Ms. Florence Aebi believes that every problem should be dealt with in the most efficient and prompt manner and that every business relationship with clients should be treated with mutual respect and trust.

Since judicial proceedings are often very costly, Mrs Florence Aebi makes every effort to ensure that her clients achieve their objectives by other means in order to avoid such proceedings, judicial procedure should occur if no other solution is preferable.

To this end, other means of achieving clients’ objectives can be negotiation, mediation, corporate reorganization, offshoring, etc.

In any case, the lawyer must respect the will of his client whether outside or in parallel to a judicial procedure.

The fees for a lawyer depend on several factors:

– the time devoted to the case by the lawyer

– the complexity and importance of the case (in particular the amounts at stake for pecuniary cases) and the liability assumed by the lawyer

– the result obtained by the lawyer for his client

– the client’s financial situation.

Mr. Florence Aebi’s hourly rate is fixed by agreement with her clients and depends on these parameters.
